My grandmother learned us how to make them exactly like this (minus the migas) — flour tortillas and all. It’s still my favorite thing she cooks, and the smells it fills the house with are mouthwatering all by themselves.

“Not knowing how to cook, is like not knowing how to fuck” is an addition to the recipe grandma thankfully left out.

   In the movie, “Once upon a Time in Mexico”, Johnny Depp ordered the same dish over and over and always commented on the quality of the food. The meal was usually poorly prepared.

   In reference to that RR tossed this recipe into the DVD extras.

   Right, the recipe was just a not on “how to” make good Mexican food stuffs.
