Apparently Drew Carey wasn’t always fat and jolly. Wikipedia tells me he was in the Marines in the early 1980′s, which would explain his multiple USO appearances and staunch support of the crew cut/flat top. I’m sure this photo’s been passed around quite a bit already, but I hadn’t seen it before, so back up off, nerd.

Haycock Elementary School is hosting a Veterans Day performance in November and the 2nd grade will be playing a game show to teach the audience about the branches of the military. One of the categories is “Famous People” and we would like to use the picture of Drew Carry in the Marines and what he looks like today. Could we have your permission to use this picture?
