You know I’m gonna be staying home and watching tv like a motherfucker tomorrow night. Too cot damn cold to go out.
What’s on, you ask? Cowboys vs Eagles! Playoffs start at 7, my man! Then Mavs vs Jazz at 7:30, but the thing I’m most excited about: Charles Barkley on SNL. It’s gonna be knuckleheaded turrible.

I’ll be the first to admit, I do prefer Letterman to Conan, when push comes to shove. Letterman’s monologues are much more fluid and natural. But Conan’s skits are usually pretty good. Though I’ll usually flip back and forth between the two, depending on guests. What does this have to do with anything?
Well, I just found out, Leno (retch) will be going on hiatus in february, and might not be coming back at all in his primetime, pre-news time slot. Yeah!
Everyone knows Leno’s show is terrible. Most of all, the local nbc affiliates, who’ve seen viewership of their 10pm news (or 11) drop off steadily with Leno leading in. No one watched him, so no one watched them. Simple.
So is that it? Leno’s done, right? Well…not so much. From TMZ:
…after the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot. What has not been decided — whether Jay’s show will be a half hour, followed by Conan, or whether Jay’s show will be an hour and NBC says sayonara to Mr. O’Brien.
What in the fuck? Dude’s gonna snatch the show back from Conan this soon? Where does Conan go, back to his old, late night timeslot? What’s all this mean for Jimmy Fallon, whose show has seen some pretty good numbers lately?
I know Conan’s numbers haven’t been great, but from what I understand, they haven’t been that bad either. I’m not gonna hide my disdain for Jay Leno here; fuck everything about this.
